Cake Balls
1 box Cake Mix (any kind), one that makes a full 9x13 size cake
      * I love to use red velvet, tastes like moist Dunford chocolate chocolate donuts
      * plus the ingredients to make the cake
1-16oz. tub of store bought CREAM CHEESE frosting (and not whipped I don't think)
~12 oz. your choice of chocolate that can melt down (milk, semi-sweet, white, etc.)
*I like to use half milk chocolate chips and half semi-sweet chocolate chips
~1/4 cup or less vegetable oil (to go with the melted chocolate)
Bake the Cake mix according to the package directions. Allow to COOL COMPLETELY. Crumble cake into a large bowl and mix with entire tub of frosting (may be easier to do with your hands than a spoon, don't be afraid to get messy!). Form mixture into small balls and place on a cookie sheet (that can fit in the freezer) covered in wax paper (this will be messy and you may have to rinse your hands every couple balls but have fun with it because they are worth it). Freeze for atleast 30 minutes but best if a couple of hours.

Whiling freezing the balls and before getting ready to dip them in the chocolate, prepare the melted chocolate. You can melt it in the oven (200*), microwave (2 minutes, stir and then melt 30 seconds and stir and repeat until melted) or a dipping crock-pot (stir occasonally until melted). I have used all methods but be careful in the crock pot because I think it can heat too much.
DO NOT GET WATER IN YOUR CHOCOLATE!

Start with 6-9oz. of chocolate and about 1/8 cup oil to melt.
Drop frozen balls (which might not feel incredibly frozen) into melt chocolate, coat and remove and place back on wax paper.
If you have extra chocolate you can drizzle it on top of the cake balls with a spoon and a back and forth motion.
Place in freezer again until chocolate is set (~ 1 hour). Or you can eat right away if you want.
Can keep in freezer until needed days, maybe a week later.
*There is an entire book about cake balls as well as a blog by the creator. If interested just google cake balls and I think you will be able to find it.
